DWP Rewind: Yoga Game

In addition to the Wii, which we established is broken and gathering dust in a corner somewhere (see this post), I also bought a Wii Fit. I don't know where it is now either.

DWP Rewind: Priorities First

I still have this problem up to this day. It doesn't matter how much I earn: I still have to choose whether to spend my cash on clothes/makeup/shoes or save the money for video games. Video games usually win since I hardly ever go out of the house. That's what working from home does to me.

By the way, back then, I still had to decide whether to mention prices in USD or Php (Philippine Peso). I'm from the Philippines, if you didn't already know that.

DWP Rewind: Play to Printscreen

I am honestly the only person I know who has played Granado Espada, so I have no idea how many people will get this strip. It was a pretty cute MMO where you controlled 3 characters at the same time. It later on became confusing as hell, which is probably why I stopped playing it.

DWP Rewind: sk8rboied

I'm still hoping they'd port Elite Beat Agents to iOS. I'd buy it. Even if it had Avril Lavine songs.

A Guild Wars Comic by Dashface: What Gwen Has Been Doing Since the Searing

Woops! Sorry for the late post, folks. This was supposed to go live on Monday, but I've been super busy the past couple of weeks that I completely forgot to schedule a Monday post.
Anyway, here's another Guild Wars inspired comic strip written by Hayden Pratt.

DWP Rewind: Accessorizing

I had a pretty pastel pink Nintendo DS with a strap with strawberry prints and a tiny little Stitch keychain wearing a pastel pink hoodie. That's right. I was BADASS.

Comic: Temple Cat, Temple Cat. Where Are You, Temple Cat?

The Temple Cat, as I mentioned in an old post, is one of the reasons I pre-ordered The Secret World. It's the cutest thing ever, until it runs off while zombies are beating you to death.

A Guild Wars Comic by Dashface: Wiki Whack

"Wiki Whack"

Written by: Hayden Pratt
Art by: Caroline Dy

Hayden mentioned that some of these strips might be a bit too topical. I have to confess, I don't really get much of the text either, since I never really spent any significant time playing Guild Wars. I'm proud of my art, though, which is why I decided to share these strips on Error Quest. :P

Site Updates: Error Quest, Now Fortified with Even More Comics!

A small bit of news: starting next week, Draw Write Play: Rewind will be posted every Wednesday and Friday at 12:00 A.M. in the GMT+8 timezone. We looked at our archive and realized that posting a strip just every Saturday means we will run out of DWP strips to post only after 7 months (approximately), so we're speeding things up a bit by posting two strips instead of one every week.

That's should give us enough time to *cough* make the reboot *cough*.

DWP Rewind: Wii Need Space

Does anyone remember the Wii? I bought one way back when, and now it's sitting in a corner somewhere, broken and gathering dust. I'm not even sure where that somewhere is.

It's long since been replaced by a Kinect, which is also gathering dust, but at least I know where it is.

Comic: Color Coding

In TSW, before you go rushing into battle, make sure to check the colors of the icons next to the mob's names. Not all enemies that look alike, hit alike.

Comic: For the Love of Lore

I have residual trauma to platforming in MMOs from SWTOR's famous frakkin' datacrons. Lore hunting in TSW is much easier, but in some parts, still incredibly frustrating. Anyone who tried to collect all the lore in Seoul would probably agree. And I've been hearing something about 'The Cost of Magic...'

Amy's Minecraft Gameplay Videos

Happy Monday, everyone! We would just like to promote a Minecraft gameplay video of the King Anubis adventure map, made by our friend Amy Sweet. Crank up the volume to hear her lovely voice! Also, if you have any tips for her for video/audio editing, I'm sure she'll appreciate it if you drop a comment on her video. :)

The Craft: Mansions of Madness

I've always been fascinated by representations of the occult and the extradimensional in narratives, and how they're portrayed in a variety of ways: as paradigms, as tools, as mysteries, as antagonists. Lovecraftian stories (and stories of the same mood) capture these elements best for me, so it's no surprise that I'm in love with The Secret World the way I am. One of the games I've been playing a lot of recently (aside from TSW, of course) is Mansions of Madness: a part of the Arkham Horror gaming franchise produced by Fantasy Flight Games.

Mansions of Madness is a relatively complex tabletop game for 2-5 players. One player assumes the role of the Keeper: a mysterious force that is orchestrating some sort of diabolical plan. The rest of the players act as investigators, chasing down clues and solving puzzles while fending off the Keeper's monsters and the hazards of an openly hostile luxury residence.

DWP Rewind: Booby Marketing

I can't believe it's been 5 years since I made this. This is the first of the many old Draw Write Play strips I am re-uploading for your viewing pleasure. DWP is my own personal contribution to the internet's many Penny Arcade clones, but with ladies for leads instead of gents. It was a small success at the time, and looking back at all the strips I made, I only regret making a few of them towards the end of the strip's life.
